Even if you have no experience in the wine industry and have never imported a single bottle in your life, with my winery TWF, you can launch your own brand of rosé wine under the prestigious AOP Côtes de Provence.

And the best part ? You won’t be alone, every step of the way, a service company supports you. Let me explain:

🔸 Don’t know the legal mentions required on the back label to clear local customs? TWF will handle that for you.

🔸 No graphic designer or idea how to create a vectorized file for your label?

Our in-house designers will create your design for free, and we manage the printing with a trusted French printer.

🔸 Not sure how to organize transport from our bottling site to the port of Marseille or Le Havre, and then to your country?

No problem ! Through our logistics partner with whom we ship hundreds of containers every year, we offer unbeatable freight rates to ship your wines worldwide.

🔸 Worried about how to import and clear your wines through customs in your country ?

Every country has certified wine importers. They’ll be happy to offer this import service, some even provide warehousing and can deliver directly to your clients.

And yes, it works, even for beginners.

I’m often amazed at how well our first-time clients perform. These are entrepreneurs making their first-ever custom wine order, with no background in wine. Most of them invest their own personal money and are deeply committed to the success of their brand.

Our clients come from all kinds of backgrounds: celebrities, clothing store owners, yacht rental agencies, airline pilots launching side businesses, influencers…What they all have in common is a network or community to sell to.

What’s the most important key to success?

👉 Your audience.Whether it's followers, clients, friends, people who will be excited to discover your own rosé brand.

As for all the admin, importation, logistics, that can always be outsourced to professionals.

Pro tip: for more independence and profitability, consider setting up a local company.

You don’t always need an import license, sometimes a basic distribution license is enough.

Each country is different (EU ≠ UK ≠ Australia ≠ US states), so I can’t detail every regulation here. But trust me: It’s often simpler and faster than you think.

1️⃣ Step One:

Make sure you have a network or community ready to support your wine brand.

Don’t get stuck on paperwork fears.

2️⃣ Step Two:

Create a brand that reflects you, with premium packaging.

Why go premium?

The AOP Côtes de Provence is already a luxury wine. It evokes Provence, Saint-Tropez, lavender fields, the French Riviera, celebrities…So don’t sell it short with a basic look.

Here’s an example of a packaging that doesn’t do justice to the wine :

A very basic packaging on a Premium Provence Rosé.

And now, a look that really matches the prestige of the appellation :

This is luxury packaging! Heavy, embossed glass bottle, screen-printed design (no label), light blue coating, and a beautiful flint glass cork.

At TWF, we offer multiple bottle shapes, glass effects, capsules, and box customization. You are the creative director of your brand. And we are here to guide and support you every step of the way.

Let’s talk MOQ and budget

👉 Minimum order: 3,600 bottles, around 4 to 5 pallets. That’s not much, most clients who’ve done the prep work reorder quickly.

👉 Your potential margins: 50 to 55% net profit.

Yes, if you do things right, strong profits are absolutely achievable.

Cost estimates:

  • Basic packaging: starting at €3.50/bottle (ex-works)

  • Premium packaging: up to €7.50/bottle (ex-works)

  • International freight for 5 pallets: around €3,000

  • Taxes & customs fees: vary greatly by country

✅ Total budget estimate:

  • From €20,000 for a basic project

  • Up to €40,000 for a premium, high-end brand

If you sell your 3,600 bottles and apply the average private label margin (50–55%), you can launch a profitable and exciting business.
